Yvonne Hutton had a long run as the artist of Roy of the Rovers in the late sixties/early seventies, producing some very nice colour covers:

Two more inquiries. The first is called "School of spies" in greek and it 's about, well, a school of spies. Kids that have a special talent (multilingual, pick pocketing, explosives etc.) are trained as spies and take on such assignments. I need some more info obviously.

The other story is about a football team that uses some kind of strong wind device to assist their game. The greek title is "Strange adventure" which I 'm sure has nothing to do with the original. I 'm looking for title, magazine and authors please.

The football strip is Paxton's Powerhouse from Scorcher, 1970.

Valiant 579 p14_edited-1.jpg
School for Spies began in the Valiant dated January 5th 1974 and ran until the issue dated May 18th (the following week saw the merger with Lion). Don't know the artist I'm afraid.

Neville Wilson. Another criminally underrated artist in my opinion.

OK, I 've got new enquiries, so let 's see what else we can find. The first strip is about an orphan who 's trying desperately to save some money and buy a bicycle. Its greek title is For a bicycle.

The second one is a WWII strip involving Japs, a teen and his boomerang and its greek title is, unsurpisingly, The boomerang kid.

The third one is another WWII strip taking place in Holland, where a teen is used as a go-between the city and his brother who is a member of the resistance. Its greek title is The young rebel and comes obviously from Victor.

There are a couple more which I believe are most likely of Spanish origin, so I don 't have high expectations to recognise them. Still, if you wish to take a look, they 're Trafalgar, Pirates and the New adventures of Robinson Crusoe. Thanks in advance for your help...

The links don't work for me either, but I expect For a Bicycle will be The Potters of Poole Street from Valiant, 1975.

I believe they 're fixed now. And Raven, you 're right about the Potters strip. It was mentioned earlier today in greatnewsforallreaders.com - great minds think alike etc. :P

Jack Pamby is mentioned as artist, but was John Stokes also involved? That page I 've uploaded above seems like his style.

Or is that John Catchpole? Some of the faces resemble his work in the 1976 Lion Annual.

The New Adventures of Robinson Crusoe looks like it's drawn by the same artist who drew Survivor and Valley of Fear for Bullet, whom I don't think anyone here has been able to name.
